Encrypt Text Messenger SMS

Due to restrictions that started in KitKat (Android 4.4), it will not save messages that you send and you can not delete messages through this app.

This text messenger (SMS) will encrypt your texts using the AES algorithm to send your SMS text messages to the other person. All the text messages will be encrypted sent through the app. This app holds the key to decrypt the text messages. Any other text messenger trying to view the messages will only see random characters. For this to work both users are required to use this messenger.

Long click on the name will delete the chat.

Can turn off notifications of a new message off in the setting menu.

The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a National Institute of Standards and Technology specification for the encryption of electronic data.

You can change the key for the encryption. Just note the other person must have the same key and it will change the key for all your messages at this time.

Permission Explained:

android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE -> to send sms

android.permission.READ_CONTACTS -> to a list of contacts to pick from
